Love this dress…especially the beautiful fabric.

I just received my first fall shipment a few weeks ago and just posted the dresses to my website.  One of my good friends, Caroline, came over to see the dresses and promptly bought both of them (she looked gorgeous in them!).

The first dress is the Yoana Baraschi Twilight Knit Dress.  Soooo sexy with a gorgeous fit.  This is definitely my favorite dress from her fall 09 collection.  What do you think?

I visited Sicily in April to visit family and went to Milan on the way back.  Of course, I visited Carmen at her store.  Here are some pictures of the beads which she uses to make her gorgeous necklaces.

She gave me a sneak preview of her fall collection….some very beautiful pieces are coming.

Definitely one of the highlights of my trip.  Being the in the store and looking at all of her necklaces, all of the pretty colored beads–so much fun!

I know:  summer hasn’t even started and I’m already talking about the fall.  But I’m really excited about the fall fashions!

Gloves are very hot for the fall, especially elbow length gloves, which look beautiful with 3/4 length jackets, sheath dresses, and suits.

I saw these beautiful Carolina Amato elbow length gloves in Harper’s Bazaar magazine recently (June 2009). I love this look–so stylish and sexy.  Coincidentally, I was going back East to visit my family, so I decided to schedule an appointment with the Carolina Amato showroom in New York City.

Kira, the manager of he Carolina Amato showroom, was very helpful.  I love visiting showrooms in general; the buying process is definitely one of my favorite parts of having this website.

I ordered the gloves pictured in the magazine in a beautiful chocolate leather.  I also ordered two pairs of elbow length cashmere gloves and an additional pair of Italian leather gloves.

Can’t wait to receive them and show them to my customers.
